Many around the country have experienced harsh weather this spring. Many locations have undergone flooding and others have dealt with severe storms. Below is a list of extension education resources that may be useful if you’re trying to help your landscape recover:
- University of Minnesota: Flooded Trees – Minimize Injury (a few quick tips)
- Iowa State University: Understanding the Affect of Flooding on Trees (good list of flood tolerant vs. intolerant species)
- Clemson University: Assessing Landscape Tree Loss (putting a value on your leafy friends)
- Alabama Cooperative Extension System: ACES EDEN Website (bottom of the page is a list of resources on storm-damaged trees)
- University of Missouri: Caring for Flooded Lawns (a few years old, but still a good resource)
